Nissan UK
Advanced Generation are providing the new 20MW solar farm at the Nissan Motors site in Sunderland, UK. The site already has an operational 4.75MW array installed in 2016 in addition to their 6.6MW wind turbine installation from 2005, and we are funding and managing the additional £9.3m installation of the additional 37,000 panel 20MW scheme.

The plant which spans an area of 362,000 square metres, builds 1300 cars per day - and at AG we are proud to be providing a renewable energy system to assist with the development of electric vehicles such as the Nissan Leaf.

Teeside International Airport
We are installing the new 22MW solar farm at the airport in Teeside as part of an extensive upgrade programme. This airport which serves destinations such as Faro, Alicante, Amsterdam, and Jersey to name a few - is undergoing an extensive refurbishment and upgrade in preparation to provide major transportation services to the Teeside region for years to come.
